This website gets by with as little data as possible. It sets no cookies, uses no statistics or analytics tools and loads no content from third-party servers, such as external fonts, maps or videos.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When a page is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary data such as the IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser information, in order to deliver the page and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA. Details are given in Netlify’s privacy policy: netlify.com/privacy.

Contact by e-mail

If you send me an e-mail, for example with feedback on the learning module, I use your details only to reply to your message. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The message is deleted once it has been dealt with and no retention obligation applies.

Learning module and certificate

The learning module runs entirely in your browser. Your answers, as well as the name and result on the certificate, are neither transmitted nor stored. They are lost when you close or reload the page.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
